About Me

How I Got Here

I obtained my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from the University of North Texas.  I have taught Psychology for 17 years. I began teaching in 2003 at Brookhaven College now the Brookhaven campus of Dallas College. I taught English as a Second Language, Psychology, and Computer Science.

I served Brookhaven as Executive Dean for Social Science and Distance Learning for 11 years. I was also an academic advisor and career counselor for four years.

I came to Hillcrest because I am intently focused on seeing your child succeed in school.  Teaching your child is the best part of my day.  My goal is to pass along the passion I have for the Social Sciences to your child and help them find their own calling and passion.
